Splinter: The Cabin-Inspired Campervan

This post may contain affiliate links & sponsored content.

Splinter isn’t your typical van conversion. It boasts a wood-effect wrap on the outside, giving it a cabin-in-the-woods look that blends into the countryside. Once inside, you’ll be greeted with a warm, rustic interior with sustainable timber and thoughtful details.

Splinter is nestled in the charming village of Farmborough, just south of the historic city of Bath in Somerset, England. Surrounded by rolling countryside, it’s the perfect starting point for exploring picturesque villages, scenic trails, and the beauty of southwest England.

Built with Passion and Purpose

Splinter’s backstory is as charming as the van itself. It was lovingly converted by the talented team at Wild & Woody and Frenzy Designs (a father-daughter duo with a serious knack for creating unique, sustainable van builds). Inspired by their previous VW T4 conversion, they went bigger with this one—adding more space, features, and craftsmanship to ensure comfort for short getaways or longer adventures.

Everything inside has been thoughtfully designed to maximize both beauty and function. The warm timber tones, the soft natural light filtering through the windows, and the mix of rustic and modern touches make Splinter feel like a cabin on wheels.
